Hi, thanks for visiting my pages. I started as an amateur photographer, was captured by the medium, and pursued it professionally. For the last 30 years I’ve worked as a commercial photographer and a filmmaker, but always created personal work at the same time.

I’ve been exhibiting my work for many years, and was a member of the Torpedo Factory Arts Center in Alexandria, Virginia, before I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina. I also teach one-on-one digital printing workshops for those who want to master the art and science of fine art printing.

I love water and being by the ocean, and many of my images reflect that passion. I work in both color and black and white, and try to create strong images that have something interesting to say.
